Duck Fat Seared Steak

Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)

Cooking Directions

Step 1 - Season steak with salt and pepper. Allow meat to reach room temperature if you have the time.

Step 2 -
In large cast iron skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of duck fat over high heat.

Step 3 - Cook steak. Flip every 30 seconds to build a nice crust on the outside. For a medium rare finish, continue to cook until internal temperature reaches 130 degrees F.

Step 4 - Allow steak to rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
